What is this Lamela supposed to be like? Because at the moment, he seems little more than a poor Cristiano Ronaldo impersonation act. And why is he benched for most matches? Really dunno what to make of the fella.

That Bale stat is more impressive tho since he's been injured a bit.
 
Good on him, the DM have been absolutely disgraceful this past week and it's about time someone called them out for it. You cannot imagine he'd have been treated this way if he wasn't foreign.

You can just feel the jealousy they have of him aswell though. You know all footbal journalists are people obsessed with the game but lacked the talent to actual play, so for them to see someone like them who had the aptitude and determination to actually get properly involved in the game is clearly sickening to them and they are incapable of hiding it.

I have to agree with you and it's made worse by him replacing the media darling Redknapp. The media know and always ignore that he was not able to bring the players he wanted to the club either. The players were brought in by Baldini and he has had to make the best out of it. Still he has had a reasonable start whilst fighting on several fronts, trying to find his best team and allowing certain players to adapt. It's funny that Moyes get's non of the criticism that he gets, despite doing roughly the same, but with a much superior squad who won the league by 11 points last year.
