Load of crap. He is getting same amount of abuse from the media as much as any club. In fact it's the spurs fans that are on his back more, when he took Lennon the crowd was all booing the decision. It was pathetic. Hope they royally f*ck up this season.

I think more managers should stand up and do this. The days where we the fans can be manipulated by the press are going. More press conferences are filmed so we get to hear what the managers says directly and not the press reporters interpretation
Unfortunately some of the media haven't realised this so continue to peddle their own agendas whilst not realising that we the fans can see that they are misrepresenting the managers words
Ferguson had the media in his back pocket due to bans I wish more clubs would do the same that way the press would realise that if they want to set their own agenda's the clubs are entitled to set theirs

He was spot on about them twisting his "We should be ashamed of ourselves" comment after the City game.
Sadly, though, he's fighting a losing battle against these tabloid cockroaches as they really have no shame and will go as low as possible to come out on top. You only have to see today's Mail to see that they're delighted they've finally got to him.
