COMPLETELY forgot Adebayor is still at Spurs. But the question is, does he feel 'loved' at Spurs anymore?
Don't worry about Adebayor, his love of money will see him through.Dzeko's Right Boot said:COMPLETELY forgot Adebayor is still at Spurs. But the question is, does he feel 'loved' at Spurs anymore?

That's an understatement if ever I heard one.
On a separate note I'd be interested to hear your take on the "Yiddo" debate. The Spurs fans' stance baffles me immensely and makes it extremely difficult for anyone outside the club to warm to it (not that I'm suggesting you care). If it was remotely witty or amusing I could sort of understand it but it isn't and never has been.
I don't buy the whole idea that the purpose of the chant is to gain ownership of the term. It may have been 30 years ago when racist chanting was rife but these days it is extremely rare and those who are caught doing it are arrested.
I appreciate that it is not intended to be offensive but the very idea that a club should seek to define itself by a particular race or religion is unhealthy. It is also an invitation to fans of other teams to give some back thereby perpetuating the fans' sense that they are being discriminated against. Maybe that's the real reason they do it?
Having said that it does rile me immensely that David Baddiel has become the spokesperson against the chanting when his twitter bio is "Jew."

The same should be done by the black community and the Pakistani community regarding the N and P words.
Take the word back from the racists, Claim ownership of it.
'Own' a word. How can anyone 'own' language?MJepsenJensen said:My thoughts regarding the Yid debate are simple, I think it's fantastic that the Spurs fans have managed to take a racist word and turn it into something positive.
