West Ham back to their usual self after giving it their all in their cup final.

Why didn't we open them up like that?
Er; because you're not as good a side as we are. It isn't rocket science.

*sigh*

And yet if the mediocre Spurs win tomorrow, we'll be level on points with the massively superior Manchester City.

Go figure!

8 games in and you're nearly on the same points as City, must be one of Spurs' better achievements in the recent history.

I can see us tearing apart Villa tomorrow.
Paulinho,Soldado,Eriksen,Dembele,Lamela and Vertonghen... All world class players and Lloris is one Elite player.

Villa Park will be silenced.

Well Spurs have come away from Villa Park with 4-0 wins from our last two visits there but I think tomorrow will be much tougher.

I still think we'll get all three points but it will be a very tight affair.

I just think that we are more suited to playing away, Villa won't stand a chance against us, City outplayed them but lost due to stupid preventable goals.

Fuck me the term world class is used loosely these days.

I have to say I'm really enjoying THFC's second account, always good for some laughs.

How do you define world class?

As for me it's if they are in the discussion of 'who can stake a claim to being the best player in this position' of which none of those can, apart from Lloris, I think he might be one of the best keepers in the world.

World class phrase gets used way too much. For me it would possibly to get into a world eleven.

If I think back the last 25 years at Spurs I'd only class 3-4 in that bracket. Gazza, Lineker, Klinsmann and Bale. There have been plenty of other great players in that time too, Waddle, Sheringham, Anderton, Modric, VDV, Berbatov etc

Villa are a tricky side and shouldn't be underestimated. We done them easily in the league cup but that was different. Benteke should be back also. I think Villa fans will be happy with the progress this season.

Time for AVB to get Sandro back in the team and not dick around. I love Siggy but put Lamela in his place and create some proper width. Siggy or Defoe can come on if we struggle for a goal. I'd rest Dembele for this one and keep Paulinho still who's done well so far. We keep the ball well but are too slow and predictable. I'm not too fussed about the high line if we are banging in the goals.

-- Sun Oct 20, 2013 4:52 am --
