The Tottenham Thread (Merged)

Bit off topic I know, but Spurs fans are all going to the FA youth cup game vs Charlton at the valley, it's on the 16th february and it was organised after hearing the fighting cock podcast. They feel the u18's need to experience what it would be like to play for the first team. It's called project TottenhamUltras. Apparently a few 1000 are already going as it's £5 at the ground. If any yids are interested it's 7:00pm kick off. You can meet at a bar near the valley but can't remember what it's called :S the only rule is to sing your heart out and give the lads a night to remember. Sounds like a decent idea!

Edit/: Their will be a video made by one of the Fighting Cock producers on the website, just for those who would like to see it.

why post this here?
you think any of us give a fuck?

I give a fuck, and enjoy other teams posters posting in their own thread. If you don't, then don't visit the thread?

On a MANCHESTER CITY forum, YOU are the idiot.

Agreed, surely it's a compliment to bluemoon that half decent fans from other teams like to post here.

Agreed. Its good to have this rational debate between us open minded Bluemooners and the half decent fans of our rivals. Can you send along some of your fully decent colleagues to add to the conversation please? And are there any half decent United fans anywhere?

Can I ask the Spurs fans, isn't the label 'yid' considered to have racial undertones? I would never call someone that as I consider it could be offensive. Yet you guys don't seen to have a problem.

Its a very interesting question.

I was having a chat with a mate from Israel, and an Arsenal fan that I'm friends with (yeah I know..) comes up and says "alright yid?" to me. Israel bloke doesn't know much about football so looks up a bit startled like what the fuck did he just say?!. And therin lies the issue I guess, to some people it is offensive, and it was considered offensive to us so we took it and made it our own in a similar fashion to people with African heritage using the N word.

There was a recent movement with a few familiar faces like Baddiel and Fat Frank asking us to stop using the word as if it was causing mass hysteria across the land. Fat Frank can fuck himself, as using the term yid in an endearing fashion to Spurs fans and players is not at the same level as the fascist cunts singing Spurs are on their way to Auschwitz and making the gas chamber sounds whilst playing us.

Once again if you cared to read, I said that I prefer to post on this as it's a better forum than the spurs ones. Purely because the posters on here, well almost all of them, seems to have a brain, while all the ones on the spurs forums have been sucked into the media hype. And your mates on here, judging by their responses seemed to have appreciated the fact I post on here..

-- Mon Jan 30, 2012 5:55 pm --

I thought that we began to use it as the majority of fans were calling us it so we took it up to annoy them? I could be wrong of course!
