We have these things called bans up here too. Bye.

For the record of any Spurs fans reading, we invite you to come on our forum and talk about your club and general football. We enjoy many of the opposition fans here.

We do not invite you on to our forum to insult our club. This is our house, you've basically walked in and said that the carpet's shit, the couch is wank and you don't like the cooking. When you do things like this, do not be surprised if you are ejected from the house

''Northern characteristic'' my arse!!
Go and pay your taxes, before I call the police, you jealous twunt.

Liverpool fans and City fans? Not to mention Celtic and Rangers?

Who else comes up with these conspiracy theories?

You certainly don't hear them amongst London clubs.

I don't know - I don't follow them.
Anyway, who gives a shit about conspiracy theories, apart from conspiracy theorists and, apparently, you?
Have you never complained about a shit decision? That's what these forums are for isn't it - and, for some, conspiracy theories to be aired. It's no big deal. I don't think it's the prerogative of us great northern unwashed hordes. There must be a fair few shandy swilling non tax paying Spud fans scatterred around the home counties who've grumbled over the years, I'm sure.

What a laugh, the Borrowers coming on here bigging themselves up as a mega-club while sneering down on the likes of City, Everton, Sunderland etc.
Spurs have the happy accidnt of geography to thank for much of its turnover. London prices for tickets, for corporate, for everything.
And still Spurs want a Fortnum and Mason team for Lidl money.
The charity cases have become basket cases.
Without City essentially allowing you to eat out of our bins, you might be struggling to be in contention for the Europa League this season.

Well, again, I think it's pretty embarrassing that they can only attain that while being propped up by said Russian oligarch. Highly embarrassing in fact.

Although I doubt I'll find many City fans in agreement with me there seeing as you have had to spend more of other people’s money than anyone else in the history of the game just to be a competitive club.

Spending since Premier League inception to 2010;

Chelsea= £366m (3 PL, 3 CC, 5 FA Cup, 3 Charity Shields)

(City is second with just over £300m but its disproportional data considering the length of time they've been spending.)

Liverpool = £201m (1 CL, 3 FA Cups, 3 CC)

Tottenham = £176m (2 CC)

Manchester United = £139m (12 PL, 4 FA Cup, 4 CC, 9 Charity Shields, 2 CL)

Arsenal = £32m (3 PL, 5 FA Cup, 1 CC, 4 Charity Shields)

Spot the odd man out. The holier than though attitude and bitterness for clubs that actually use their resources well is what makes most of you a bunch of pricks. Sure, you're spending and wage plan is lower than a lot of us. And even taking out United, why has Arsenal outperformed you by such a massive margin while spending a fraction of what you have? I'd love to hear the excuse because that IS fucking embarrassing for anyone who wants to walk around spouting nonsense like that. For a club with the 4th highest net spend in the country (at least since the PL inception) you're pretty much living in a glass house.

Bans getting handed out willy nilly these days, surely we're not turning into the Peoples Democratic Republic of RAWK?

Can we have a seperate finance thread where we can all use charts and diagrams to pat ourselves on the back about how good it looks and just keep this about football?

I wouldn't bother sinking to yido in briefs level Castiel, you're better than that.

The research was done by somebody back in 2010 (hence the figures) I just kept the thread bookmarked and pull it out whenever that little chestnut is brought up. :)
