Why does it bother people that Spurs are getting praise? It's not as if it's not deserved.

The media were quite happy to laugh at Spurs for twenty years and rub it in that our neighbours play beautiful football and are the best in the world etc etc. Even when they were playing boring boring football under Graham the media made out they could never be broken or beat and Europe's elite.

I'm sure City have been used to having the media wank over United too for the past 20 years

Considering we were 50-1 at the start of the season to win the title and Liverpool 9-1 it shows most had written us off.

I'm not saying we'll win the title, I think City will and they will deserve it. Part of me would take fourth right now because you always expect the worst. I'm sure a lot of City fans know what I mean too with the shit through the years

Agree with Manc In London, it's daft to paint all fans with the same brush, especially on the net. There have been some rather arrogant threads on here too, saying you'll win the title (past 3 seasons), better than Barca, slagging off your own players and saying they're shite. City fans I know are a lot more down to earth than some of the wank posted on here

bit; I'm not saying that hasn't been posted, but I would wager a large sum of money that there are very few of them on here. And those that are have been posted by some pre-pubescent who's dragged himself away from Elephant tube just long enough to post something ''controversial''. And as for the posts slagging off our players; doesn't every club's fans do that from time to time. Go to Redcafe or RAWK if you want examples. Or even, dare i say it, Glory glory! Us football fans can be very fickle (''thick''-le?) creatures at times. I would rather see you lot in the CL rather than the Mersey self-pity merchants or our lovely ''silent neighbours'' (won't happen to them though, unfortunately!).

He's making that up and as for being better than Barca, he's either too stupid to understand irony or he's being a malicious twat. I haven't seen one, not one City fan on bluemoon who has said we are better than Barca in anything other than an ironic tone.

True, but those are the spurs fans that don't realise that although we have a low wage structure, we payed £16m for Bent £7m for dos Santos and £8m for Bassong. Yous have spent money and it's been on good players, we have spent as well but on massive flops, just ignore them, they are the fans that think spurs are the British Barcelona.

Gallas and Sandro have both suffered calf tears, we'll see Spurs' depth tested soon perhaps although as long as Modric, Bale, and Adebayor are fit I think there is strong cover elsewhere.
