The true secret of Leicester City's success / doping thread merged

I would hope City would never get involved in this kind of thing. Cannot imagine the possibility that we would. But we do have a few players (well one anyway) who might be described as a dope. Thinking of a certain MDM. Hopefully that does not count.

Remember how pro active we were with Kolo when he took the wrong drugs?

I would assume we still have the same attitude and watching some of our displays show that...

Do you know what sort of drugs might give a footballer an unfair advantage?

Lots of them. Anabolic steroids, HGH, EPO, xenoandrogens, beta- 2 agonists, anoretics, SARMs and amphetamines.

It's been going on for years in football.

LCFC use a 'sports research facility' in Milan. It is run by a company, Mapei, who make adhesives and sealents. Interesting side line. The same company have Sassoulo and Juve as clients. Sassoulo have improved hugely over the last few years. In the last Juve/Bayern game, Juve players ran, on average, around half a KM more than Bayern players by around the 60th minute. Massive difference.

Isnt another thing sports persons do is have there own blood taken and have Administrated for that big improvement in performances like epo but so a lot harder to detect.

And maybe some eight pint blood transfusions a la Lance Armstrong and co.

They can avoid detection through micro dosing. It cannot be picked up more than an hour after doing it. As players only appear to be tested after games, it is easy to avoid.

In Scotland, they barely test:

First thing that springs to mind is Van Persies miraculous season with no injuries in his first season for the red scum.

Always said something was dodgy about him never getting a knock he couldn't string 3 games together for about 6 years at the arse before he moved there

Needs changing, random drug tests pre game should be happening and player knowing it going to happen will make them think twice.
