The 'We Will Win the Title' Thread (merged)

Re: can we close the gap

It was nice to see us up our home form at last. Full steam ahead. Jose will whine the Chavs into second place, with any luck.

Even with previous seasons behind us, I think we've already run out of games. I think Chelsea may draw the odd game here and there, but we will lose the odd game still. I said yesterday winning every game may not be enough. Our run-in is harder starting next weekend.
I would also argue that this Chelsea side are stronger than 2011-12 United and 2013-14 Liverpool but we can still close this gap.

I started to believe this when we beat Stoke, now I'm convinced. I can see us winning all of our last 12.

If it took yesterday to convince you, then I have to disagree.

I know were all enjoying what we saw yesterday, but lets not kid ourselves that all our remaining games will have opposition as poor as Newcastle (and they were poor). Look how much space was gifted to Merlin and Samir. That won't happen very often, if at all again this season.

From that game we can take 3 points, confidence and momentum, but much stiffer tests await.

We will drop more points along the way and so will the Chavs. I do feel though that Chavs will drop too many and we will sneak another close run race.

Stay grounded fellow blues. Wev'e put together a run of 2 decent games. Before that we wern't sure which City was turning up. We now need to trust Pellers to pick the right team week in, week out.
Absolutely, which is why I backed him and called it that Edin would start yesterday

:-)

Just goes to show that analyzing who has what fixtures left is fairly pointless. One thing you know about relegation teams is they will bust every bone in their body at this time of the season. Unlike Newcastle who were already on summer vacation today.

Let's take it one game at a time. We have a tough match at Anfield, but Chelsea going to West Ham is equally difficult. THE TITLE RACE IS ON!!!!!

Spot on...

I suspect Chelsea will win the difficult games, its the games against teams lower down that will bite them..

We will win it.....

Re: The 'We Will Win the Title' Thread

other than liverpool next week which will be hard.

we are more than capable to winning all the rest, that includes rags and spurs away.

Bring it on !!!!!!!!!!

Champions go to LIverpool and get a result when they need to. They are 7th in the league FFS and yet we are still of the mindset that a result there is almost a miracle for us. We have to get that Anfield monkey off our back once and for all.

we don't seem to get much luck at anfield.

Looking at the mood of the 2 managers , it looks like the chavs who are feeling the pressure , the media whore moaning at every decision , whilst our charming man , just gets on with it .

Yep, last season we had to go to Everton and win, which we did, this season our away form is far better and we've broken the hodoo at Stoke, Sunderland and Southampton. We can beat Liverpool and go on to win the league.
