The Welcome To Manchester Banner Really Got To Fergie

One of the greatest adverts in the history of advertisement. Something so simple royally pissed so many people off and yet, made many people laugh and not just City fans. Small time **** face called it, yet for all those years they had that banner up at the swamp.

And wanted to keep it up after the FA Cup win on some kind of technicality . . . small time indeed.

Like Cloughie and Jimmy Savile, it'll all come out when he's long gone.

All roads will eventually lead back to the Elite Sports agency.

slur alex...!!! knew when to get out cos he knew he couldnt live with us, chelsea and arsenal

Seriously! Is he for real?

The day Manchester City won the Premier League, Sir Alex Ferguson’s wife Cathy told him it was the worst day of her life. ‘I can’t take much more of this,’ she said.

Ferguson writes that his wife would not leave home for fear of bumping into City supporters. He talks of Manchester United’s 6-1 defeat by City as a ‘farce’ and claims - rather bizarrely - that United ‘battered’ City for 40 minutes.

And some people on the other thread (admittedly not many; actually can probably count them on one hand) want to read his book. Ungracious **** of the highest order.

Oh we got to him alright!He knew that both ourselves,Chelsea and Arsenal would only get stronger and due to our takeover and investement we were not going anywhere.Like a spoilt kid who had had his ball stolen[the league title] he bust a gut to take it back.It still irks me we made it so easy for them,that and all their luck coming at once achieved it.Then like all bullies he ran away before he got another bloody nose!

While I'm putting on my coat and false beard and ringing for the taxi, I'll whisper this quietly (but keep it to yourself, yeah);

They actually were (just) the better team for the opening 20-30 minutes.
