Strange and a little sinister if true.

What are the chances of picking somebody to lead an inquiry that had a brother who was involved in the way he was and who themselves has allegedly got previous for protecting the identity of a paedophile because of his position ?

The whole thing is a farce Cameron has cherry picked this dotty old bird because he wants to white wash the whole thing away. He knows that the tories are up to their necks in kiddy fiddling. Thatcher has been implicated in covering up paedo's in her own cabinet http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/margaret-thatcher-personally-covered-up-3848836 . Hardly surprising that she was more than willing to turn a blind eyed with her own father known to be of the nonce variety.

Not to say that there were nonce in both of the other political party's the Fail tried and stir up shit a couple of months ago on non story on Harriet Harmen which came as usual to nothing. We're gonna get the usual drip feed from the media of alleged MP nonces (likely to be dead ones), But appears to be very doubtful whether we will get anything near to the full truth.

You are joking about Harman and her pals' support of PIE being a non story, right?

Genuinely, any attempt to make this into a party political issue like you did in the first paragraph misses the point by an absolute mile. This is an establishment cover up. Conservative, Labour, Lib Dem of course. But also Sinn Fein, Scottish nationalists, everyone. That's the whole point.

Cameron's appointment of Butler Sloss to oversee this whitewash mirrors Blair's appointment of Margaret Hodge as the first ever Minister for Children: it's more than just a cover up, it's a great big "fuck off you can't touch us" message on behalf of all politicians, senior police and judiciary aimed squarely at us little people.

Heard an interesting take on this other day.
They already have someone else lined up to do the whitewash. She was put forward knowing that there will be a backlash because of her connections and previous.
If she were allowed to go through with it and the result appears a whitewash, it would rumble on.
If she was replaced, it would give the illusion of democracy, and if the results still appear a whitewash, people would less likely to complain and it might just go away enough to carry on as normal.

Problem, Reaction, Solution.

Interesting, let's see what happens....

This wasn't stated as fact by the way...
More of a "Wouldn't surprise me if...." sort of thing.

Its in the eyes, look at her picture and don't tell me she not going to toe the line.
A very, very asymmetric face. Well she is 102 or whatever so has had a full lifetime to develop it.

The left side (as looked at) is totally bland, as is normal.

The right side, where the character shows, well I don't know quite what to make of that. Does she look frightened? Wicked? Cunning?

A very interesting face.

Complete and utter bollocks.

Fair enough to criticise the appointment of her because of previous allegations involving her brother - but to use her looks as an agenda against her is pretty low in my opinion.

Some interesting questions here <a class="postlink" href="http://thecolemanexperience.wordpress.com/2013/09/14/the-queens-lieutenants-elm-guest-house-bbc-paedophiles-mark-speight-filthy-cyril-smith-and-the-dolphin-square-connection/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://thecolemanexperience.wordpress.c ... onnection/</a>

Yes a non story naivity of the highest but that does not make Harman and her pals all nonces which is what the Fail were implying.

Cameron's appointment of Butler is clearly a cover up and the fact that it's been allowed to go through with only a few voices of concern leads you to think that more is known about this than meets the eye. Lets just hope our so called free press can help here and if we can get some whistle blowers exposing the kiddy fiddlers.

ffs you`ll be letting phil jones off for being an absolute useless **** next

Seems strange that the houses of commons a place that is jam packed with ex public school boys who were ripped from the maternal breast at a young age and sent away to become leaders and men of great power, a group of now men who were educated in a male only environment, a group of men who had to learn pecking orders and rules of how to survive and gain favour. There was no complaining to mum over the evening chicken nuggets for those lads. They were isolated and had to quickly learn survival skills and a sense of grin and bare it. Isn't it strange that many of those same boys are now some of the biggest nonces in the country who by nature cover up indiscretions and brush stuff under the carpet.
