The "which famous person died today" thread

I used to like Dances With Wolves and the music but haven't seen it for 25+ years. Might give it a watch, see what it's like nowadays.
 
In memory of the father of Dennis Edward's (lead singer of the Temptations) who died on this day.
Apparently his dad was never much on thinking, spent most of his time chasing women and drinking. Its also said that wherever he laid his hat was his home and when he died, all he left us was alone.

It was the first song to get me out the bar onto the disco floor. I was 17 then in '73.
