Aw, I really liked that song and he was another bloke who light my fire as a teenage girl.Another 70’s legend gone - Steve Harley of Cockney Rebel fame. Apparently lung cancer at 73.
Loved him & their music and they were a mainstay of my childhood. RIP

Wonder if him above said “Come Up & See Me (Make Me Smile)”?

Sorry, I misconstrued your "if".
After consulting google, Mr Soft was used for Trebor Softmints.
Having seen the advert on YouTube, I vaguely remember it.
Sebastian is my fave . RIP Steve HarleyMy two favourites were his cover of Here Comes The Sun & Mister Soft
Made a fortune on royalties for Come up and see me, huge Horse Racing supporter and he backed the winner of the 2000 Guineas Cockney Rebel at huge odds when he won at Newmarket in 2007.But it wasn’t just that one song, as great as it was.
Judy Teen made No. 5.
Mr Soft, No. 8.
Here Comes The Sun, No.10.
Mr Raffles, No. 13.
R. I. P. Steve
Probably the man who's designs had the biggest influence on your driving life since the 90's but most will never have heard of him.
