Had a big hit with that song "I Remember You"Just heard that Frank Field has died. A genuinely decent human being. A very rare thing in politics.
RIP Frank.

:)
Fun fact... I met both Frank Field and Frank Ifield, through work and in Sainsburys respectively. Frank Ifield lived about half a mile from my house in Hertfordshire in the 80s.
I would say he taught me to yodel, but that would be silly. I could already yodel by the time I met him.
Loved those booksMaybe not that famous but I know many people enjoy his books and ironically the TV adaptation of his Shardlake series starts this week.

When you look at the path of life at 71 there’s not much in front of you but take a look back and there’s enough to pave the Suez Canal.I'm now 71. Like you fit and healthy, but I think 70 is a landmark, I don't know when "it" will happen the odds are getting shorter as you age. It could happen any time I suppose.
My SIL died of cancer not long ago aged 64. My 2 brothers died not long ago.
I fear cancer but I don't fear dying. But I'd like to see my Grandkids grow up.
