RIP Prunella Scales. Condolences to her family and friends. A great actress and from all accounts a lovely person. Reunited with Timothy West. They were a lovely couple and their sons seem to have taken after them. RIP.

As someone who’s closing in on FOCdom, I find it incredible to know that Cleese was only in his 30s when Fawlty Towers was made.

RIP Pru. I’m sure that I saw some BBC drama back in the 80s and she was naked, romping in bed with some bloke and showing everything.

Just watched it on BBC 1 shown to mark her passing (as it should) funny as ever - it was the O'Reilly the builder one and won't lie I watched it through misty eyes - one of the perfect performances
