The "which famous person died today" thread

Stanley Baxter the Scottish comedian and impressionist has died at the grand old age of 99. His Stanley Baxter comedy shows and Christmas specials drew massive audiences on both BBC and ITV. Ultimately he was dropped by both as his shows proved too expensive to produce. Baxter appeared in several films including "The Fast Lady" with Julie Christie. He also came out as gay after 46 years of marriage.

Stanley was a massively talented man, remember his xmas specials and films before that.

Played a great baddie, think he had a role in the usual suspects.

His famous lines in Pulp Fiction: "Bring on the Gimp" - Response "The Gimp's Sleeping" - "Well wake him then" Cue: appearance of drooling pervert in Gimp suit in front of a bound and gagged, helpless Bruce Willis! and Ving Rhames. What a scene.
