The "which famous person died today" thread

Loved her in "Prime of Miss Jean Brodie." "My girls!" she'd say, "are la creme de la creme"; she could have been describing herself. She was especially wonderful in one of Alan Bennett's "Talking Heads" tv plays, a one woman play though I can't remember the title.
R.I.P. Maggie Smith, there's only Judi Dench left of that generation of actors now.
Barbara Knox is still with us…….
 
Murder By Death, a 70's film, also great with a bottle or wine. It's a Neil Simon comedy murder mystery and very funny. She starred in it with Peter Sellers, David Niven, James Coco, Peter Falk, Sir Alec Guinness, Elsa Lanchester, Truman Capote, and Eileen Brennan.

In my opinion, she was not only a great actress but quite beautiful.
She was, I've not seen that film but what a cast that is, I'll try and find it or keep an eye on the listings, the title is funny on it's own.
 
I'd say everyone knows a Kris Kristofferson song and these lyrics are as good as it gets.

Well, I woke up Sunday mornin'
With no way to hold my head that didn't hurt
And the beer I had for breakfast wasn't bad

Then I fumbled in my closet through my clothes
