Rod Taylor - an Australian actor who had some success for a short time in Hollywood. Probably his most famous film role was the lead in Hitchcock's "The Birds". Quentin Tarantino gave him a cameo role in "Inglorious Basterds" He wasn't very tall which counted against him.

His best film was 1967's "Wait Until Dark" where he played a psychopath who terrified the blind Audrey Hepburn who unknowingly had a mass of high grade heroin secreted in her favourite doll.
