'Brown Sugar' was a crazy classic back in the day...
Cruisin' (1995) was my favourite jam from that classic album.
RIP Soul Brotha

Nicolas Cage is also related.Sofia Coppola got the gig as the original choice Winona Ryder dropped out due to 'nervous exhaustion' (breakdown possibly at the end of her relationship with Johnny Depp). The surname should give you a clue. The director Francis Ford Coppola was a relative. Sofia wasn't an actress and gave a sub standard performance. She later gained a measure of fame as a director of women related films (eg the Virgin suicides)
No cause of death yet ?A great actress - aged 79 and she never married.
Suggestions she had bulimia and had lost “a lot of weight”No cause of death yet ?
Yes, his real name is Nicolas Coppola, and Talia Shire is also a Coppola, Francis Ford being her brother. Nicolas is their nephew
I do like Manhattan a lot. But if I had to rank them, I liked Annie Hall best (“Max, are we driving through plutonium?”), then Sleeper, then Radio Days and Deconstructing Harry, which IMO are both quite underrated. Mighty Aphrodite was good too. Plenty to choose from!yep, nice part in Manhattan as well, the best Allen film.( well, aside from Broadway Danny Rose that is)
Gutted. I am a huge fan of the bandVery sad about the emerging news regarding Ace Frehley. I have been a huge fan of KISS ever since their first British gig at the Free Trade Hall. Ace’s distinctive guitar work was a key part of their best work.
RIP Spaceman.
Ace Frehley RIP
Exactly, I read his book and its amazing how he even survived, he lived the rockstar life to the full like a legend but taken from us by a fall at home.Just saw that - had a fall at home. You forget how old we are all getting eh? RIP
It's worrying that I'm the same age as old people.Just saw that - had a fall at home. You forget how old we are all getting eh? RIP
Aside from the 'early, funny ones' I have a lot of time for Stardust Memories, Midnight in Paris and M Murder Mystery...but theres not much Allen that I dislike. Interiors maybe....and that one in Barcelona, name escapes me.I do like Manhattan a lot.
