the game was absolute dross, and i can tolerate a poor performance, what concerns me more than anything is the continued use of petrov on the right, it kills any forward momentum.
we have beaten teams we should have beaten with the players at our disposal, and we failed in our big test.
going to the football is meant to be an entertainment, and playing the worst team in the league i want to see attacking intent with expansive football.
if we have to keep playing players out of position then our squad isnt good enough, and playing better teams than a woeful portsmouth will expose the god awful shape that mancini persists with.
i am behind the manager, i want him to be a winnner with city, but can anyone on here explain the shape of the team to me, and tell me how we are benefitting, and get beyond the obvious we are winning, because make no mistake we have played some truly shite teams in recent weeks.
