Theo Walcott? ..

As soon as anyone starts talking actual football details about Walcott, such as his lousy chance conversion rate, pathetic dribbling ability, rotten pass completion, lazy arsed tackling attempts, horrendous crossing stats, somebody chips in with his goal tally, speed & England caps.

All that says is that Arsenal created a lot of chances & England are shit.

And yes, he is fast.

so do we reckon the Sinclair deal has stalled because of the contract news with walcott? that's how i see it anyway!
You are bonkers. The Sinclair deal stalled because we made the mistake of selling AJ before agreeing a fee with Swansea. Elementary error only City would make. We won't be getting Walcott, as Wenger is simply trying to call his bluff.

In a nutshell.

I honestly dont know what would make people happy on here, Walcott is a current england international, he chips in with his fair share of goals and assists, he has a ton of EPL and CL experience, hes only 23 and is less then 15mil! Navas only got one assist more then Walcott but 6 goals less last year and is 3 or 4 years older! Walcott is the same age as sinclair but has more experience, more goals and assists last year plus is quicker. Walcott doesnt seem to have any problem beating his man his crossing isnt the best but he never really had a target man at arsenal.

Imagine a combination of Dzeko and Walcott against teams that park the bus.

Not sure that Walcott is that good against a massed defence...
His most eye-catching displays are away from home on counter-attack...
He gives you pure pace on counter-attack...which scares other team + stops them pushing full-backs up etc

Just thinking that when teams do park the bus against us for some reason all our play seem the go through a highly congested middle route, Walcott's wing play my just counter this if he responds to proper coaching, I know all hypothetical but still.

His crossing success rate is a bit better than one in ten. dzeko will have a huge beard by the time he lands one on his head.

Neville what are you looking for in a winger? He beats his man easily and whips in alot of crosses what more can a winger do once again he had no target man. He creates alot of chance and scores afew goals maybe im easy to please but i think he would improve the side now that AJ has left and he is a realistic target. Who would you suggest?

He is at least as good as Johnson, but has the added dimension - he can run - and probably faster than amyone else in the Prem.
There may well be better out there, but, if we can get him in instead of Sinclair, and we've added Rodwell and 'Nasty', that will turn out to be a pretty good window in the end with 3 young signings.
I don't actually think Walcott will leave The Arse, but, if he does, I can't see him going anywhere else but to City.

Someone who can put a cross in without having to beat his man & land it on a sixpence. The dreaded Beckham would have fit in our team. We need someone who can play keep ball with Silva etc & still go wide

I don't have a winger in mind but I don't think Walcott is one anyway. He just gets put out there because he's not good enough to get a game as a striker.

I don't know of a winger off hand who would suit Mancini's team but Bellamy would do that job even now better than Walcott. Surely in the whole of Europe there is a player with pace, if we need it, who can cross a ball & actually has a brain ?

If Mancini decides to sign Walcott, I will back him & hope the genius of Mancini can change him. I think he will fail utterly & sell him in two seasons time.

But I don't believe Mancini wants him.
