Really hope we have made an attempt for him. He is too good to pass up, especially at the price he's going for. I was pissed not to get Isco but if he leaves Barca and the rags get him I'll be devestated. He has huge potential, on top of already being quality.

Considering he is better than Isco Iscariot it's going to be a damn shame if we don't buy him. He has to be worth £30-40M easily. Get it done city!!

Would be nothing bitter in hijacking the deal, though I would fully expect the posters who said Madrid are bullies for hijacking the Isco deal to say we are also bullies. ;-)

I would have no problem in us bullying anyone for a player, as at the end of the day it's all about signing that player no matter what. Go in, offer loads, offer loads of wages and get it sorted out. We can now compete with United when it comes to offering a player a career, whereas Madrid have that wow factor about them, which will always make it harder, as has been the case with young Isco.

Ye as soon as I posted it I noticed but I couldn't edit my post as it hadn't been approved.

To AustinBlue, you've got me! A simple spelling mistake an I'm outed. My 8 post infiltration is over. I'm actually quite embarrassed about it as I'm a finicky fecker when it comes to spelling and punctuation so cheers for pulling me up on it you shitbag! ;)

In all seriousness though, how can people not be excited about a player like this? In 4 or 5 years time he is going to be worth 40m and he is available for a mere pittance at the moment. The fact that we have a link to the player through Txiki should put us at the head of the queue if we're interested so I would be really disappointed if we aren't in for him.

Thiago is young, incredibly talented and has been taught the style of midfield play that we all want to see at City. We would be mad to pass this up and should at least make a strong bid.
