Well come on, Mr Jockstrap starts a proper thread, some dip stick mentions Whitby and all of a sudden everyone brings out their inner Judith Chalmers.
Is that Brambles? We stayed first week of new year and was recommended this by our hotel owner. It was closed the whole duration of our visit the lazy feckers. :) Looked neat as well.
Had to walk miles for an Italian in Whitby along the cinder path so we didn’t eat in the pub every night. Even that train cafe thing was closed!
Don’t give up on that one, you’ll get it backThere was a time when I liked nothing more than to 'brum' my toy cars on the livingroom carpet, though, of late I'm finding it to be a chore rather than a pleasure
Same as the FA Cup final - unless we’re in it I don’t bother watchingSports personality of the year. It was a much watch when I was younger.
Same with me.Popular music.
But maybe, it's not so much that I lost interest in it, as that it lost interest in me. I swear that I virtually never hear anything on the radio that makes me think, “Must follow them up.” And that's been the case for years.
I was mad about pop and rock right through the sixties and the seventies. I suppose it's a young man's (woman's) game.
Again, same here.Rugby League. Played and watched it as a kid. Now, apart from the fact that it's virtually unknown over here, the sport has changed too much for my liking. Used to be a winter sport, not any more, matches end up with scores like basketball and the players are super-fit international athletes who look like gladiators instead of the podgy blokes who played a couple of hours after coming up from the coal pit. I miss old Albert Blan ( a R.L. equivalent of "my Hornby and my Barlow long ago.")
Sound alright to me.Drink.
Boxing.
Football.
The missus.
Pubs.
Social Media.
Work.
People in general.
Probably more...
I like being on my own watching TV and having a takeaway, I'm a boring ****.
At the age of 40, I still collect hot wheels and some matchbox, although they stay in their packages, unfortunately my days of bRumming are behind me.There was a time when I liked nothing more than to 'brum' my toy cars on the livingroom carpet, though, of late I'm finding it to be a chore rather than a pleasure
