This team won't be considered great until...

Doing something big in the Champions League. The Kompany-Yaya-Silva-Aguero spine never delivered unfortunately. Sure we were unlucky with draws and so on, but I feel that spine would be heralded even more if we had a couple CL runs. 2 group stage exits and 2 Ro16 exits for how good they were is so poor.

As far as i'm concerned this team is already great, i dont have to wait for approval form the clueless biased media and pundits, regardless of the defeats we have suffered, painful as they have been, Pep/City have revolutionised football in this country and changed it forever, only a great team could have pulled that off..

Media, pundits, haters, just fuck off and have your discussion looking up at the Bluemoon....!

The greatest team I have seen was the 82 Brazil team. They didn't win anything but they made the greatest impression on me by the standard and the beauty of their football. We have won a double playing the most fantastic football this country has witnessed. We are already great in my eyes.

Totally agree. Brazil 82, I was seven years old and still remember watching my first World Cup and remember everything about that team, still the best I have ever seen.

Nobody talks about Italy beating Germany apart from Italians.

Italy are more remembered for beating THAT Brazil team.

I was seven as well and I remember watching it with my dad. He would tell me about the 1970 Brazil team but the 82 team surpassed them in terms of flair. I can still picture Falcaos veins popping out of his arms after he scored.

Yep, Junior, Socrates, Zico (my hero)

Watching it with my dad. My mum is Scottish, though, and still remember her going crazy when David Narey gave them a shock 1-0 lead.

Then Zico woke up and Alan Rough didn't move.
