This Weeks other PL Fixtures Week 6

He looks FAR the better player ?

Fucking hell.

And Pelle is better than Aguero on the same evidence. And indeed better than Martial today, thefefore also better than Sterling.
Jesus.

Erm, no. We've been watching aguero for years and know he's world class and better than Pelle so your comparison is a tad stupid.

I've only seen Martial play for a couple of weeks but in that time he's looked an excellent football player. Sterling on the other hand has not. Why's that so difficult to grasp?

Was there a legitimate reason why that match had more injury time than yesterday, as I saw none.

Is it not time to take this out of the hands of guesswork and introduce some kind of visual clock revealing up to date EXACTLY how long is left like they do in other sports. Then players will see how their stalling tactics are extending the match. And some kind of rule can be agreed as to how long the clock is stopped for various shenanigans.

It might have had no effect on yesterdays result but everyone knows 4 minutes was just wrong and it could one day mean the difference between winning something or not for a team somewhere. Far better that these games being played are properly penalised in a way that everyone agrees up front and that is made visually obvious by a clock stopping.

The players being able to see exactly how long is left rather than guess based on what the referee decides to do might also help focus attention.

Just a thought.

Rags finishing a little more clinical than ours yesterday.
They got some " lucky" decisions from the officials.
What's his name, fair play, is good, and he's only been there a couple of weeks so not tainted by Raggy tendencies.
Rooney man marked Clattenberg industriously.
Clearly TT overuled by "accidental" failure to complete transfer of De Gea IMHO !

Thought this for a while myself. The 4th official could surely do it - he is not exactly over worked is he ?

The whole concept that because a player scores a couple of goals, he becomes better than a lad who has been a fucking good player for City . He actually put the ball in the exact same spot Sterling did! Difference was we were playing fucking Juventus.

He's been a fucking good player? Really? He's done ok up until Juventus and his last two performances have been poor.

Your comparison of exactly where each player placed the ball is beyond absurd given that there are so many different factors I.e angle of shot, pace on the ball, proximity of defenders and about 30 other factors. At the end of the day Martial's scored 3 goals in 2 games for the rags and gained them points, Sterling has not.

It's not only the fact he's scored. It's how he looks as a player - goals aside. And so far Martial > Sterling in that respect.

Take off your blue tinted specs mate.

Yes Sterling has been a fucking good player for City.

And other than the goals Martial has done next to fuck all, so now I know you are talking bollocks. Depay had a better game than Martial if you discount the goals. He did fuck all else.

His reputation is based purely on the finishing, nobe of which would have been goals v our opposition. If he fucked about on the ball v Juve like he did v Southampton, for the first goal, they would put him in row z. The second goal.the keeper dived the wrong way. Same finish as Sterling but easier.

If he scores 20 goals then compare him to Aguero. Sterling is not a cf.
