Yeah, I'm being loyal to Kompany for now. But I sense I'm probably wrong and he'll be gone and a 4 CB will come in.

Unless he retires not sure he goes. Why would anyone take him unless we pay his wages? I think the plan will be 4 CB's + Kompany (if he stays).

The funniest thing of this whole debate is that "pace and power" are the last two things at alli's disposal. He's not particularly fast, or particularly strong.

He's a 20 year old skinny kid...the irony is that its far more in line with lemar than alli.

Such is being only 1 player in a team of 11 at times...not even ronaldo or messi will single handedly carry a team to victory, much less a 20 year old Alli. When spurs are all playing well as a team, alli is untouchable.

Am I reading your post correctly that you think we'd get Mbappe for around £30m?

All the big dogs are barking about this lad and if he leaves this summer the fee will be North of £50m most likely.
 
FAO Little Egg. Shame Alli can't control a football and the other parts of his game that are weak, which for an £80m rated footballer is even funnier and you kind of expect from a player that highly rated. And Alli isn't exactly a lightweight either.

The best about the 5 you're scouting is without a doubt Mbappé, the lad is 18 and i reckon he is already two steps ahead of martial- who was a great player back then but kinda over rated in my opinion-. I wouldn't recruit Sidibé yet since he stills need time to get more compossed.

Nothing you are saying sticks. Literally nothing you have said of dele alli is accurate, and everythig you have claimed is inaccurate. Think perhaps oakiecokie was right...or you just haven't got the foggiest.

The original claim was that lemar was a "much better prospect than alli" which by virtue of leagues they both play in, and prove themselves in, is an absurd statement to make.

Then my personal favorite "he's nothing but pace and power"



Now the fresh claim is that alli can't control a football(along with his other weaknesses lol)?



Hmmm...you do realize how easy it is to rubbish such nonsense claims with youtube on tap right? Not that youtube is even required, but still...

EDIT: just watched the epic 5-3 game and lemar was a virtual passenger, it was mendy that did all the good stuff on the left.

He was out performed by Bernardo Silva but still played a part in Monaco's attacking play. A raw player but there is quality.

Great talent, prefer him to Sanchez. Fits Gurdiola's play like a glove, good at ball retention, can play both on the wing and centrally. Not a prolific goalscorer right now, more like a hybrid winger/8/10. Lemar-Silva-Silva combination in midfield is a dream for any possession-based team.

We don't need another play maker, we need goal scorers. Sanchez is this and he's arguably every bit as good a creator too.
