Those of you who left early

My train home (last one I can get) leaves at ten to.

I travel a long way every home game, paid my money knowing I will always miss the final 5 mins or so of a mid-week game, and potentially a moment like that.

Neutral mate came as well. His face is a picture atm.

Still didn't shave ten mins of my journey. In fact I nearly died running for my train (again), and I still annoyed for unavoidable reasons.

To be fair mate I honestly don't think that your plight is under scrunity. It's just that many people find it a bit strange that some fans/supporters leave for no other reason than to get home 20 minutes early. And before people begin to get on my case and try to explain that it's their perogative I agree, it is their perogative, just can not understand leaving early to make up 30 minutes.

Sorry mate I rather rashly didn't read the majority of thread (reading on my phone). Mainly just the provoking first comment. I've just seen the rest of the comments.

I would give me right arm to be able to live around the corner from City/Manchester. Why would you leave in this cases

That's all I'm getting at mate. I get home from the match on night games between 10:30 and 11:15ish. If leaving 5 minutes early was the difference of 2/3 hours then fair enough, but 30/60 minutes?

Some proper morons on this thread.

This happens at every ground in the country. Why do you care?
...

Someone's angry that they missed the goal...

Just happy we won mate. Too many on here who want to live other peoples lives for them.

First time I've left early.....30 seconds before the goal. Ended up dancing round the concourse like I was possessed. Still a valuable lesson...won't happen again with me.

I hope you mean that and stick to your word!

As fans we must be behind the team 100%

Why even post this?? Aren't you just happy that city won? Why have a go at the ones who left?
Obviously not, they are all the biggest Blues in history after all.
I have rarely left a match early but these kind of threads make me want to punch someone.

Haha unlucky! Most of them wont care that much as many leave early because they don't really give a shit. No matter what the day, the time of kick off, the opposition, the score or the importance of the game thousands leave early for no reason (obviously some do have a reason) [some as early as 74 minutes!].

30-45 minutes extra sleep for a kid is absolutely fuck all. Tomorrow they will just have an earlier night, maybe even a nap after school before tea. Overall it will make no fucking difference to their lives at all. "Kids" is no excuse, at all! If you're an adult and you're happier saving 30-45minutes on your journey home - whether it's 10miles away or 300miles away - that's pathetic. The only real excuse is people with disabilities or if people have work on a night shift. Other than that there's no reason at all worth leaving the game for!

10/10. Thought you were a nob/woman with previous posts to me but I like you again x <3 x
Sorry! Sometimes I can post things that seem a bit arsey when reading them back, but they aren't meant to be like that intentionally. Written word can be interpreted differently to how it would be spoken at times. Plus I don't always read who has written posts or who I'm quoting so never think I'm singling you out. If you met me in real life you'd probably have a whole different view of me than many would just from Bluemoon. I'm alright really!

SWP's Back said the same thing to me in a pm, and he's a twat in real life too.

I don't deny that there are those who have valid excuses e.g last train, random emergency etc. But it is those who religiously leave early to get back to a Manchester suburb five minutes earlier, I can't understand.

Believe it or not the players are aware of the stadium and their surroundings. It is disheartening and potentially detrimental to the team's performance to see a half empty ground when we're pushing for a late winner.

exactly when will these morons learn
