Those who think there's no agenda need to read this...

The difference being when United aren't good enough they quite often get a helping hand by the officials, when City aren't good enough we get it compounded by the officials.

***awaiting the naive to point out the Newcastle penalty and Chelsea title win of 4 years ago as concrete proof, lol.***
The thing is you can look through every single season and see United get decisions to against them. Off the top of my head, right now, I've just thought of the penalty given in the 90th minute at the CoMS when vdSaar saved Darius' penalty and that pretty much sewed up the title for them, had he scored they had even more difficult games ahead and could have lost the title. Why would a bent ref working for a bent governing body give a penalty against United in injury time when they can pretty much win the title that day?

I'm sure if I went through fixtures over the years I could pull up something from every season (some seasons with multiple occurrences), that changed the title race. But as a big establised club, they have more possession and with the mindset of the human race, they do get more decisions. But it isn't a conspiracy or agenda; it's more subconscious thinking.

The difference has been, in twelve of the last twenty seasons, United have taken their chances and have won titles.

Get a life you sad cunts and stop spending half of it trolling the internet looking for proof that the better teams, have more possession, spend more time in the opposition penalty area and amazingly end up getting more penalties than shit teams who only get out of their own half, twice a game.

There's no team had more possession than us this season, yet we've had shit decision after shit decision. I'm not saying there is an agenda, but why any City fan would deny this is beyond me.

I bet we don't run into the box at pace as much as United do though. When we have we've got penalties yet we hardly do it.

And people's selective memories seem to last about 20 years on dodgy decision against us and about 10 seconds, the other way round.

Fuck it, I'm boring myself even talking about it now.

I'm off to that 20 page thread about the dodgy pen Sunderland got given against them last week.

Anyone who dismisses this as a city fan clearly (as I don't) just doesn't want to believe the game they love that should come down purely and simply to the best team winning is veing gerrymandered and manipulated for the benefit of the teams that the premier league deem the more commercially viable team to win.

Course its not in every game but usually united get the dodgy decisions in those games where a helping hand is required.

Why people simply dont question why its strange that a team unable to get past basle in the champs league then gets royally outclassed by athletic bilbao in the uefa is able to run away with the prem league with potentially the highest prem league total very very strange.

You then ally that to specific referees being used commonoy, continual dodgy decisioms in games for united when needed and conversely against us in similarly tight matches and you get the difference in points.

It stinks, it really really does.

Your argument appeared to be that lots of possession + being on top in games = favourable decisions. It certainly hasn't worked out like that for us this season. Of course people can point to the occasional decision that has gone against United and the occasional decision that has gone for us as evidence that there is no 'agenda', but nobody is suggesting that EVERY referee in EVERY game is deliberately going out to favour United and disadvantage City, just that there needs to be a level playing field for all teams in all games, and anyone who thinks we have that at the moment is naive in the extreme imo.

There may be an agenda but we are powerless to prevent this even if it is the case.

I think that if we introduced foriegn referees to the premier league then it would take away bacon faces influence and the rags influence over them in my opinion. I also think the standard of refereeing would be higher as they seem more competant at European level.
