For the love of God.........don't know how many times its been said now, we didn't get rid of NDJ to bring Garcia in, he left as he wouldn't sign a new contract, so we sold him before he left on a free at the end of this season!

Anyway, back on topic. Andy Morrison looked like a complete dud - looked like a rugby league player when we signed him! And yet without him at the heart of defence in 1999 who know's where we would be now?!

Apart from the header v. whoever it was, I cannot think of anything that Javi has done that stands out and inspires some confidence that he is about to blossom into a swan. He was pretty instrumental in Portugal, wasn't he? He was, wasn't he? WELL, was he or wasn't he? Fucking Marwood! Jeez.

I guess i am one of those that does not understand how football works. How much did we pay for Jongie and how much would we have paid if we had waited 6 months, did we not get Clarkied when we sold him. So we signed Garcia and Rodwell plus their wages. How much more would we have had to pay Jongie to keep him. So i guess letting Jongie go has cost us over 40 million, still scratching my head. As for more games, he should have played 6 champion league games for us, we could not get the class to replace him, the rest we all know, a weaker squad this season

Piss poor player, sorry but after he backed out that tackle at Wigan it just proved he is way off the pace.. I hope he comes good but Rodwell has more chance, Face it we have sold De Jong for 3 million FFS and signed Javi and Rodwell for 30 million.. People saying we didn't sign Javi to replace De jong is rubbish
