Is there a problem with posting on two football forums?

Apologies if that's the case, I thought this was the Internet

There is when on one, the amount of abuse directed at members on here is frankly disgusting and goes way beyond what's acceptable.

We saw just the other day what depths posters off there will stoop too......

Any particular reason what the above has to do with my comments on this thread?

You're repeated mentioning of 'the other forum' is getting a bit boring and a bit strange considering you were also a member

I will reply out of courtesy and then for the sake of a peaceful board, wont comment on any of your posts again.

You're a fucking wum, along with a few others off there stating the same shit, week in, week out knowing full well it will cause trouble and arguments. You and two others were at it just last week and the thread got pulled because at least one of your mates couldn't help himself and started to racially abuse someone on here. That might be ok and a laugh on your forum but it isn't on here.

To set the record straight, i was a member and posted less than 5 times i think in months when it became clear what the place was about, who were behind it and the racial and other abuse give out on there about members on here. I got a ban for daring to tell this place what was going on. I'm devastated, not.

You're polite enough on most threads but many of us see what you are about and what your modus operandi is because like this one, as soon as you are called out you resort to the sniping and im sure a few off there will be along soon to offer you back up.

On that note im out of this thread as far as your posts and opinions are concerned.

Thanks for your reply Blueinsa

I'm not a wum, I have an opinion on the club and the manager that may differ to yours and a few others

That thread that got pulled last week, is this one not a mirror image of what was said in the other one? But yet not one person in this thread has been abused in the way the OP of the other thread was

My opinions on Pellegrini and our transfer business is my opinion, I haven't warmed to him and haven't been happy with our transfer business, it's as simple as that. Me repeatedly saying those things are no different to the people that constantly defend those two topics

If some of you are gonna judge my opinions based on me being part of another football forum then that's a shame, and rather judgemental really, but this is the wonderful world of the Internet where what you read only tells you a minute part of the story

How many times are some going to compare the transfers of Mangala and Fernando with Sanchez and Fabregas and make it out like we had a straight choice, 2 from 4?

Many more times I suspect.
I'm convinced people think this whole thing works like FIFA on a games console. Pick any you like, as and when you like!

It was the same when United took the PL back again. 'We should have got Van Persie'. It's always the same.... whoever someone else has that's doing well - we missed out on, and could have had if we'd tried harder / paid more / sorted it out earlier.

Can I ask those who think we have had a bad transfer where they think we would be in the league now if we had secured messrs Sanchez & Fabrigas instead of the Mangler et al?

i attended my first match before you were a twinkle.........thought you were a bit better than that Chris.........a pathetic attempt at an 'insult'

I'm not bothered whether you've attended one game or one hundred

You jumped on me and the fella above, sarcastically calling us 'gurus'

So perhaps either keep your beak out or come up with a counter post

This thread has been done to death now anyway, but I can see what DAX is getting at and I do remember him putting the same opinions up before we signed Mangala etc

A counter post??

Fuck me,how many times does the topic need explaining to you?? I 'jumped' on you and your pal because you're talking absolute nonsense.Do you honestly believe you know better than our management team?

Another secret forum member eh? lol......you deserve each other.
Again this is the epitome of a fallacious argument. And it's the cornerstone of those who have no argument. Just because I disagree with how management chose to move forward in the summer, doesn't mean I'm claiming I know more than them.

If it were, then similarly every time you or anyone else on this forum (practically everyone) disagrees with a Pelgrini selection, formation, or decision, such a poster must be claiming they know more about coaching than Pelegrini.

Let's take it a step further, anyone who disagreed with the decision to sack Mancini, sell players for pittance, must be claiming they kno more than than a beffy of paid, and trained professionals who do it for a living.

Even further, anyone that thinks we need better Physios, or have argued we must be doing something wrong and should try to acquire Chelsea like Physios, are claiming they know more than management who do this for a living.

Let's even expand the idea even further, anyone that made fun of United or Arsenal or Pool, for buying midfielders or forwards, when you could tell defenders was what they needed, must be saying they know more than the paid management at those clubs.

We can keep expanding the pointless claim above ad infinitum. As anyone can see, we might as well just never post as its will be pointless to do so. Seeing as we all know most of us do not work in football, and even those who do and post their individual opinion cannot be certain it's superior to those of any whole group.

So references like the above only score points with dull minds. If you think about it for a second, you'd quickly see the obvious flaw.

Fantasyireland, you should stick to sarcasm and insults, you are clearly better at it. :)

I'd be more than a little confident that ours and the chavs current positions would be reversed.

Most likely in 1st place with points to spare. But that's just a guess. If they performed half as well for us as they have for the teams they currently play for, you could add about 11 more assists and 8 more goals. And that's being conservative. But more importantly, we'd have had a lot of players that have logged major minutes (to the dislike of a lot of fans here : I.ie Navas, Fernando and Jovetic) logging less time.
It's quite likely we'd still be in one of the cups, and I sure would be more confident with 2 Barca rejects with a chip on their shoulder getting ready to stick it to Barca come February.

Look, I understand those who don't agree with me. But I have to be honest, the reason why is because they conflate supporting the club and supporting Management's decision. I don't. Simply put, no one in their right mind will think a city that includes Sanchez and Fabregas, but excludes Mangala and Fernando and Caballero is weaker. No one!
