To be fair, let's say x amount of people were throwing them.
Then the tannoy, it was more like 5% of x after the announcement.

Only because they'd thrown it all by then. Given an endless supply of paper I imagine they'd still be there throwing it at any planes that flew over.

Disagree, ever played a Playstation game and got bored of it?

Even the worst video game is more interesting than 'frowing papah innit'

was funny.

don't like it, go support macc town or some other two-bit family club.

hope the ones moaning are the ones who got a paper concorde stabbed in the back of their heads.

The throwing at each other was - they did something similar with beer trays at Old Trafford - cricket not the shit hole - and it looked great and wa just harmless fun.

Surely you can see that UEFA will not consider throwing objects - they won't see it as just harmless paper balls - at a player who is taking a corner and an official as harmless fun. You know what they're like especially with English clubs - we'll be lucky not to get a fine or possibly more.

That's my point though, people get bored of everything. Especially something as mundane as throwing paper! Personally I didn't see the need to throw paper to entertain myself, the match entertained me enough. But this thread is an overreaction, it's a nothing thing. It's something that would be forgotten about by tomorrow, barring the existence of this thread prohibiting that.

A fine likely

Yeah UEFA will do us for fans throwing pieces of paper whilst ignoring Bayern fans getting stabbed in Naples.

If you want the people who threw paper tonight banned then you'll be banning hundreds and including all ages. I know it's not right, particularly with the Villarreal players taking corners but come on it was paper. Everyone across Europe gets way with setting off flares and all sorts.

Throwing it at each other before kick off was pretty funny. Throwing it at a Villarreal player taking a corner is stupid. Oh, and it wasn't just a few, there was a lot being thrown at him. Tits.....and City may well think that if this is what happens when they give us one full end and have a party atmosphere, then it's something they don't need.
