the punishment doesn't fit the crime. three match ban for having a crafty gasper?
maybe an on the spot fine and a warning yeah, but to ban the guy is just stupid.
you have my sympathies mate, hope you get sorted.

I would ban them sine die. Cancel the card and not let them renew it next season, there will always people to buy that seat who will actually follow the law of the land.

Bluenomark, you may be a fellow blue but reading your pompous arrognt narcassistic posts leads me to one conclusion only:
It is this:
You are a complete prick of the highest order. I smoke, yet am considerate. You 'healthy outdoor athletic' types go climbing up mountains in winter and expect the tax payer to fly helicopters to bail you out. Similar to rock climbers. Thing is we all take some riskd in life and to pretend anyone ever died of passive smoking is pointless as it's an urban myth.
Once again: You are a prick.
Narcassist: Excessive love or admiration of oneself

Fuck me some people are plain stupid. I'm sure running round a track and training in the gym may require a helicopter upon injury. I'll cost the NHS a damn sight less than some moronic smoker. Who said anything about accusing second hand smoke of killing everyone? I said it was harmful to others help. Go read any scientific journal you want and it will show you it increases the chances of getting cancer/respiratory disease. You're a considerate smoker? So do you consider the effects you will have on the NHS when you go in with cancer or any other illness? No such thing as a considerate smoker, unless you solely smoke in your house by yourself and then that begs the question why is your willpower so weak that you can't give up?

you sir are a pratt. who the hell are you to judge people on how they want to live their life? you need to stop worrying about smokers so much you might give your self a heart attack.

you smoked, you got your card taken off you and rightfully so and that goes for any other smokers, i hope you all get thrown out.

So you criticises my healthy lifestyle choice and says i'm a burden to the NHS with how many times I need airlifting out of the gym/off the track. I point out that you're wrong and that you will be a much bigger burden and you're reply is yeah well you can't judge me? Brilliant.

Hate to point it out to you but you are in fact more likely to have a heart attack than me. A decreased lumen and increased blood pressure along with carbon monoxide being delivered to your body. You never answered that if you're a considerate smoker who doesn't smoke near anybody why don't you just give up?

ide much rather enjoy my life than spend it worrying how much i weigh or how healthy i am constantly in a gym or a running track. you can be fit as a fiddle and still have an heart attack/die for no reason at all.

Yea you'll be loving life when you end up with a heart attack or cancer.

Im not a smoker myself but i can still sympathise with smokers, they get a pretty unfair deal. An addiction is an addiction, people should blame society before they blame the smoker. I imagine if i was a smoker a football match would be one of the times where i wanted a cigarette the most.

CoMs should have some area where the smokers can go, it would eliminate this whole problem if they did. It all seems abit narrow minded.

All those people moaning about there healthy lifestyle need to take a step back and look at themselves as they are probably just taking the high ground for the sake of it and are probably still drinking themselves silly down the boozer on most weekends.
