But they are not dwindling though are they? We are on course for our highest ever league average attendance.
Look - if a copper tells you to watch the game and stop the banter then you have to stop. At Wolves away, the same thing happened to me, I was bantering with the home fans, things got heated. The cops pulled me out after a similar warning and I manged to talk my way back to my seat after a little chat on the concourse. It is par for the course nowadays. It is not City but the police that make these decisions.
Peter Fletcher is a total ****, i agree but he is ex-GMP and you know what blys in blue are like. Stick together and always make sure that they get their story straight.
They are certainly not what they should be, especially in non league games mate and a huge reason behind this apart form the cost issue is the complete lack of any atmosphere at the ground.
Cant sing, cant stand, cant pick your fucking nose for fear of someone here for the " City Matchday Experience " complaining about you.
Soulboy is spot on. The club is busy changing the demographics of the fanbase and many of us long time fans that have grown up with a different view to what terrace culture is all about are now being slowly pushed out.
I know the score, i can either conform and get my jester hat, trumpet and big foam hand with the pointy finger or i can spend my money elsewhere and no, i don't expect that the club will miss me as apart from my season ticket money, i spend fuck all at the match, never have and never will and that is yet another reason for the club to try and get someone else in my seat, someone who wants and is willing to pay for the " City Matchday Experience ".
Pissed off and sad about it but not in the least suprised.
