Thrown out for smoking- Help!

If you get warned for your conduct and then go completely against the warning then you're not that bright are you? And you can't really start bleating when you get turfed out. HEED THE WARNING.

And all this shit about blaming the club/the police/the stewards for the atmosphere is a complete pile of fucking nonsense. The FANS make the atmosphere and if you consider atmosphere to be flicking v's and swearing at people then you are sorely deluded. The Kop often generates a great atmosphere and they are nowhere near away fans and don't feel the need to 'bounce off' away supporters.

It's all a smokescreen and an excuse for our dwindling atmosphere at games because we are becoming complacent and expectant like fans of the other big clubs. There is no systematic change - that is paranoid drivel. Of course there has been a demographic shift over time and things like no smoking have come in and it is different to the Maine Road days. But like somone said, the club are way more lenient than others would be by letting us stand in the south stand which probably goes against all sorts of regulations. You can still have a beer, no-one stops you singing anything, you can stand up and sing your head off if you want to that badly.

So please give up the victim mentality because it isn't warranted.

That isn't all aimed at the people chucked out, it's aimed at everyone sorry fucker blaming everyone except the fans.

Right, I know I shouldn't have been smoking but... I've never had a word said to me before at half time but today I was told to leave and had my seasoncard taken from me. Does anyboday know when I will get my seasoncard back or shall I ring/email the club?

Went into two toilets against Aris, both of them were overbearing with smoke, made your eyes water, i decided against having a piss in either of them and went back to my seat, throughout the 2nd half i was bursting and spent more time thinking about not pissing than actually concentrating on the game.

So apologies if i'm not more sincere about you getting caught, can you not go 2 hours without a smoke?

I always laugh when smokers come on here with their puppy dog eyes, playing the victim when their selfisness ruins it for others, not to mention you all know full well the rules not only set by the club but by the goverment so if you get caught more fool you, it means one less person blowing off their fumes when ordinary people want a piss.

Imagine Aris fans or Poznan fans having to come to coms week in week out and having to deal with our stewarding and policing....

Do you think it would have any effect on the way they are able to support their clubs as they do in their respective home countries and grounds?

Please don't think about a one off game as away fans, think about them having to support under the same rules as us all the time.

I only mentioned Liverpool!

And anyway apparently Aris only have decent support for the big games.

Also would you like to live under the same rules and regulations that are in place in both these countries? I know I wouldn't in Poland, where I know for a fact corruption is rife. Also the Greek economy is one of the worst in the world. You have to take this things in context when comparing us to them. You can't have your atmospheric cake and eat it. (but we're getting away from the point here)

Wouldnt bother ringing or emailing, I'm pretty sure it is a fixed game period you lose your card for. On another not though, I know if I was a smoker and everyone else was smoking I would have one too, but why cant people just wait 90 minutes til they have a fag and follow the laws? Its only like going on a plane to a holiday destination.

If it's 'outside on the ramps' then it's not following the law (which only covers 'inside') and it's not like being on a plane . . unless your referring to an exotic open to the elements type plane . . a flying carpet perhaps.
Also; the ramps are made of nothing but concrete so no fire hazard either.

I can quite understand someone popping out onto the ramps for a smoke at half-time and if it were me and the stewards were stupid enough to reduce our fan numbers then I'd simply cut down on the games not the ciggies - especially whenever games are televised live and we can watch from the comfort of our own homes - without the stewards causing grief for no good reason.

Let's get real eh?

I was not trying to give the impression of that of a wounded victim but merely stating what ban I had recieved to the question asked at the start of this topic because the lad is genuinely concerned about when he will get his season card back.

But part of the banter with away fans is part of the match day experience and I am sure even those in scouse land have the banter with the away following.
And if this part of the match day experience is taken away then like I have stated I will pick and choose games I will attend as has been proven we are a customer and not regarded as fans/supporters.

Clubs (not just City) are more interested in selling a product and if that product is not to peoples taking then people wont attend and we will still be having the debate as to why attendances are so low.

IMO I don't want to watch a game of football with the happy clappers with their shiny new shirts, scarves, hats I want to be able to go to a match and have a few sherberts and have good natured banter with likewise fans.
