Season Card Holders are alright, however for many fans getting access to Season Tickets is impossible, either for the expense, non availability or simply the fact the know they cannot attend the majority of games either due to work commitments or distance they have to travel. With all this in mind they go for Blue Membership and normally pay extra Match Ticket priority to allow the to potential buy a ticket for any home game during the first few days of sale.

As has been stated, there are only a maximum of 5000-7000 tickets that are ever available during this sale period. What City are doing is mugging of the Blue Members by potential selling of those remaining 5 games in what amounts to a mini season ticket.

Prices have come to light now and they average £250 per adult. For those of you who are thick, this ratio of £250 for a 5 game ticket equates to a £950 season ticket for the very people at the outset have indicated the could not afford £450 season cards!

In short, what chance now has the low to average paid City fan with just blue membership got of seeing a Premier League game at the Etihad between now and next August?

If others are struggling to see that those 5000-7000 tickets should be held back for match by match sale then I'm at a loss!
Well said. It's a load of bollocks.

What's not clear is if this '5 game season ticket' is limited and that there will be still plenty of available seats on an individual game basis or that they will just carry on selling them right up until the Wigan game.

Dubai Blue, Thank Fuck for your agreement! I thought it was me who had gone mad!

And for those seasoncard holders out there who are saying get a seasoncard, just for one moment ask yourself how stupid the situation would be if, (we could even get a sniff of a season card at the moment), the stadium was sold out consciously to fans who readily admitted before hand, that they could only get to half the games in the first place!

The stadium would be half empty for most games! That in itself would be as unfair by the individual as this current policy is by the club off selling of game bundles to only those who can afford to shell out and get value by attending all the games!

In short, they are reneging on their deal to all blue members to have those tickets for sale on a match by match basis!

Boot on the other foot for one moment now please; Imagine how a seasoncard holder would feel, if half way through the season, half your money way refunded to you and the club decided to sell your seat for the remaining games on a seat by seat basis or in a hyper-inflated bundle offer! It would be you that would be moaning then wouldn't it.

In short, those who are lucky enough to have seasoncards should stop being so bloody pious and spare a thought for those blues who don't have access to bundles of cash or for other reasons have work commitments to keep while trying to bring up a family or indeed don't live in Beswick or Clayton and can't sensibly get to every game viably to make a seasoncard, that they can't get their hands on anyway, a value for money option.

It could well be an experiment of demand, but it's also just an easy way for the club to gaurentee a sell out despite yet knowing the prize at stake during those games. Should we, unfortunately, go on to drop a few points in out next couple of games - heading into the final stretch some distance off the title - the demand would soon drop - and the club could well miss out on a small amount of revenue.

Just a sneak peak into the minds of the clever businessmen now at the helm. The club won't miss a trick from here on in.

As much as I agree with your point about demand dropping off for the latter games if we can't win it, this to me is an indication why the club NEEDS to sell these tickets in advance.
I'm lucky I have a Seasoncard and am commited to all 3 Cup Schemes, but here is the thing, I will be going to watch the Blues whatever position we are in and whoever we play. Myself and many others don't get a chance to Cherry pick the games that's why it's cheaper. Yeah I admit that on some occasions I can't make it because of work, but that could easily be the Rags or Wigan depending how busy I am.
As you say a look into the future with our Owners - good or bad depending which side of the fence you sit.

Sorry can't see it posted already !
The club has announced a 5 ticket deal for the last 5 games of the season from £194 for adults and £69 for kids. Could we see the last 5 games "Sold Out" by Mid February ?
This would give a huge indication of demand for an expansion and is probably an experiment by the club !

5 games FROM £194 ??

That's not much of a deal , is it ??

Cost me £242 in block 105.

That's well over a grand I've spent on City tickets this season. :/

Im not very happy i have just forked out over 200 pound for the last 5 games.I have only done this to guarentee me going to the last game against Norwich.Work means i cant get to every game so thats why i get a city card. The club havent done this before so why now.

think the price for the five games is way over the top. From 194 for five games v poor opposition? My S/T cost 585 for 19 games in the East Stand which of course includes the top games like L'Pool,Arsenal,Chelsea etc.Would they do this offer if say 2 of the 5 games were v top teams? Should have made it 25 a game even though I dont agree with the club doing this offer.

I did the 5 game package a few years back. When the season finished the ticket office phoned me up and offered me a season ticket.Seemingly you were put to the head of the list for season cards if you bought this offer.Changed days.

Get yourself a Seasoncard. Then, you have a GUARANTEED seat for league and cup games...IF YOU WANT IT!

Where there is a will, there is a way. Where there isn't, then it just never seems to work out, does it?!

Get fucked, you sanctimonious twat.

From a, as you put it, season ticket holder.

As you show, having a season ticket means fuck all when it comes to being able to understand and have empathy with all the myriad of situations that this club's proper fans find themselves it.

I shouldn't give a fuck about this. I'm alright, Jack, as they say. But, mods, gladly ban me for personal abuse. I'[ll willingly do one for the chance to reply to such utter bullshit and cock waving like the above, shitting on City fans.

Welcome to the new world of Manchester City.

They will bleed us dry, loyalty has a price, and boy, it's gonna cost you!

York away to this.

It was never going in any other direction, so let's see how much they increase seasoncard prices by this summer.

My cynicism of football, and how clubs exploit the loyalty of fans, knows no bounds, and City, as a club, are now just as bad as any other club in the world.

I may love the team with their sky blue shirts, but I'm in no doubt about the way the 'club' is going. All that marketing shit about 'belong' just doesn't wash with me. It's for the plastics.

I'm off. I'm going back to real football, and I, along with a great rag friend of mine, are going to watch Alty next season.

I have been a season ticket holder for years, but I'm fed up with all the garbage marketing shit.

They are taking the piss. I'll always be a blue, but they can get their money from someone else. I have reached my tipping point.
