Not really fair on people who have invested in blue cards and blue card priority if the games are sold out before they have chance to buy or no of tickets vastly reduced.
You are right Kev !
BlueCard with match priority Monday 28th January 9am
General sale Friday 1st February 9am
Doesn't give BlueCard holders much time.

yep i have to agree, for those interested in the Norwich game its basically buy the package or don't even waste your time thinking about it, theres no chance that the final game will still be on sale when it would normally have gone on sale.

as for the price - i am working on the assumption that they will be around the 200 pound mark (of course 'from' means they could be 300 quid for certain areas) but i don't think that is too unreasonable. £40 a ticket, thats less than category A, which is reasonable given this is the final run of games watching the reigning champions (hopefully retaining their crown)

i don't however agree that this package should go on general sale. This means that all these games will sell out, possibly to tourists who can afford to do this. if they were only available to MTP and blue card then surely this provides the incentive for signing up and paying your fee next year.

its certainly a unique offer, and the only solution to the problems it causes is to expand

Re: Unprecedented Ticket Demand

I don't see this as catering to tourists. If I was a tourist I'd be reluctant to buy 5 plane tickets for 5 matches each separated by 2 or so weeks.

still works out at £40 quid a game, wigan. newcastle, west brom, west ham and norwich,

meh,

that made me smile as you would hope the are all winnable fixtures

wigan. newcastle, west brom, west ham and norwich

Only problem being that wigan. newcastle and maybe west ham and norwich will be battling the drop

ah yeah i didn't think about that. maybe they are wankers and only come to the Norwich game, so we have 10k empty seats for the 4 other games!

As a "tourist" that has flown in for games for over 15 seasons at least and has through time and commitment earned a decent amount of "loyalty" points through Citycard, then season ticket when I was flush, and now Blue membership with match ticket priority, I will be most fucked off if I can get the cash together in the next month or two to get flights to two or three of these games only to discover that this 5 game deal means that I cant get a ticket.
Sadly I dont have £200 spare at the minute to buy tickets for 5 games of which I might only attend three, possibly due to buying too much beer in Dortmund and duseldorf, getting home for two days and then flying back for the rags game all in the mouth of christmas.

Ahh well, I get paid on Tuesday so that will clear the payday loan so will be able to get another one for the tickets.

Re: Unprecedented Ticket Demand

hmm I'm facing a dilemma.. what are the options if you know there is one of these games you cannot attend? Is there anyway to transfer your ticket to another supporter without having to physically hand them your card? don't want a seat being empty a game when there are so many people who would like to be there
