Ticket Office Again

Tried the combined phone and on line approach to try and sort my 7 year old his ticket. Sorted on line while still over 100 in the phone queue. He doesnt think he's going as its a night game however he's not twigged its half term holidays ... Going to tell him tomorrow that he's going to see Messi, Neymar, Xavi, Iniesta etc - get absolutely hammered by City... He's going to combust!

I'd like to comment on two of the issues raised in this thread.

1. My elder daughter hasa season card. She comes home for every weekend home game, from Nottingham. She did not sign up for the UEFA scheme because she would not realistically make the group games mid-week. She went to Leicester in the Carling game. Is she a blue ? Yes.

2. I logged on to try and buy her her seat for her for the Barca game (she will take holiday for this). I also got the message about allocation used up, despite not having bought a ticket. Yes, the web-site did sort itself out eventually and she has a seat. The online purchasing is generally ok but does seem to fail when under pressure. I think it should be better if it is to match our aspirations with a bigger capacity.

Looking forward to the game. Noted with interest that Barca did not manage to score against Atletico tonight,

Any chance of a seterate window for those wanting to get Spurs and Norwich tickets, Barca queue on Saturday was mental considering we were guaranteed tickets as seasoncard holders.

They were terrible 10 - 15 years ago but things have improved in the last few years. I've had minor problems like being overcharged by £5 (refunded before I even noticed!) and making amendments on my own account online but they're overall good. Phenomenal demand for Barca yesterday did probably result in a difficulty to log in or get through on the phones but that's to be expected.

I am on all 3 cup schemes but have had to miss Wigan in the League Cup and this replay vs Blackburn on Wednesday because of commitments - but the ease of attending the other matches has softened the blow.

I book up to 10 tickets together online, usually no problem, if there is I speak to supporter services, they don't charge the booking fee and confirm the system isn't foolproof.
You can't use an iPad and Windows 8 , but mostly works well.

I've never had a problem buying tickets online. The one time I had a problem at QPR away last season when I couldn't get in because duplicate tickets had been issued and I had to buy another ticket I rang them the next day and they sorted out a refund straight away.
