The only tuly fair way is to ballot every game.
The current system is ridiculously flawed in favour of those who have monopolised tickets for far too long. Now it seems even they are not happy that tourists and corporates are muscling in on their territory.
The fact that there is an approx 25000 points disparity between season ticket holders who have held their seats for the the same period of time is quite frankly embarrassing and a clear sign that something within the system is wrong.
I do understand the practical difficulties of implementing a draw in advance of every away game however how can it be fair that the same people get tickets week on week?
Or does an historic ability to attend games trump fairness??
