City do drip feed the tickets a lot .

All 4 clubs dropped their categories for tickets.

so all 4 have struggled.

the cost of the day out will out people off. Will be my 1st time going Wembley as missed all the others.

Why didnt the club do the lowest possible banding (General Sale to all Cityzens) with a week to go and sell it out? To think before the draw I was worried about my Grandads ST with 8000pts!!!

I said we would struggle to sell out a couple of weeks ago and people on here thought it was a joke to even suggest it.

The majority of blues i know, whether it be family, friends or work colleagues aren't bothering with this game. These are people who attended the previous 2 semi finals but now can't be arsed travelling to Wembley again for another. This is our 9th trip there in 6 years and whether we like it or not the novelty for some has worn off, especially for a semi final.

The problem we have is that when the regulars don't go we simply haven't got the numbers to fill in the gaps. I think it's partly the reason why you see empty seats at our place despite sell outs because if you can't go there's not enough people to pick up the slack. The more successful we get the less of a problem this will hopefully be.

Iv asked a few times how many we have sold, not sure how people know or how they can see blocks available ??
Iv bought 20 for freinds who thought they'd have no chance of a Wembley ticket but it seems the Sunday kickoff 4 hours from home has put loads off.. I was told on twitter only 20 odd thousand had sold yer other seem to think we only have a few available now..

The other sticking point though is travel, Virgin trains would have been sold out the moment we got through from the quarter final and I would imagine the coaches would fill up pretty quickly leaving people who want to go but can only buy a ticket when they go to general sale the week before the game and enjoy the whole day without having to drive stuck for transport.

I just logged into the website and i have a few family and friends that i can buy for. Set them all to maximum ticket allowance (2 or 3 per person) and then added to my basket. 11 tickets sat together was available in a few blocks. No exact figures but plenty (thousands) available if people want to go.

True but not every blue is from Manchester and some may have not even looked thinking its a sellout. General Sale with the proviso they sign up as Cityzens gives people near London or anywhere the opportunity and increase fanbase. A bit of advertising forked out on Radio and Media got to be better publicity than empty seats.

Understand people not being able to afford getting to wembley and all that entails. I'm still very surprised we haven't sold out.
