ticket prices for semi- final

This puts me off bothering going on the Champs Lge scheme with my son. My son can never go (school) and I miss the odd one. Only do it to gaurantee tickets for the final but (assuming we qualify) I would think it not that hard to get one for the final even if not on the scheme (appreciate it will be more of a novelty but I think the overall price and distance to travel will put loads off!

Disagree mate. If we reach the CL final the tickets will be like gold dust

Shocking if we can't muster up selling more than 30k for this. We have a lot of fans who have become complacent, I know plenty of mates who just can't be arsed. I know some fans will genuinely have their reasons not to attend but overall, not selling out is poor. Northern clubs such as Everton, Newcastle, Leeds who are similar sized clubs wouldn't have a problem selling out if they regular trips to Wembley.

Nothing to do with complacency, it's to do with money, some fans have only enough money for one trip & are gambling on us reaching the final. Btw when was 30,000 traveling fans shocking ??

I'm not so sure. If this was Leeds' or Everton's 9th trip in 6 years they would probably struggle too. Newcastle may be an exception.

I dont think it's money. It's an issue with our fan base and whether we like it or not it's probably linked to the same reasons that fans who have season tickets seem to be picking and choosing games leaving empty seats at home fixtures. To some extent we have been spoilt and I think some fans take it for granted. People that go to semi should be given priority for final if we get there. I genuinely think the game increase to our home capacity didn't help. It brought a different type of fan and alienated many others.

Some fans will have genuine money issues but a load of blues have just lost interest, I know at least 10 lads who could easily go and would have snapped your hand off for tickets a few years ago, novelty has worn off and they're happier staying in the local boozer. In comparison to other clubs I think it's a poor turnout regardless of us being there regurlarly in the last few years.

Not many. We didn't even come close to selling out against Arsenal the last time we had them at Wembley. I took my 3 kids (instead of usually just 1 of them), plus my sister along with the 4 of us that go every week.

Like has been said earlier, we don't have that many 'occasional' fans to supplement the big hardcore following we have.

I'll be there on Sunday, and at the final if we make it and the Community Shield if we manage to get there.

Long and short of it is that taking 25k people to London, on the weekend of the Marathon for a game that should be played at a mutally (in)convenient location is pretty decent. I'd love it to be full, but I won't lose any sleep if the red-pen wankers are saying we're shit fans.
Quite agree. Don't care what other fans/media think. I was there when we were shit and I'll be there Sunday as will thousands of other blues

It had to happen sooner or later, but the Rag press, namely United's mouthpiece, the *Daily Fail*, has picked up on It......

*City struggle to sell out FA Cup semi-final*

No link, but it's on News Now Man City.

I fully expect It to feature on Talk Shite at some point, and in the Mirror, Sun, Star, and all the other Rag tops.

It's started.
