Tickets sold vs attendance

I think the NS had plenty of empty seats as with the weather been so poor you have to take in to mind the fact you have young ones in the car with you.
Last night took neary 2 hrs to get from the ground to Middleton to get on the M60 to get to the M62, was anyone else caught up in the that traffic. No accident just cars and buses not able to get up the roads.
We made it back to Yorkshire at 00:30hrs 5 hrs later, I wouldn't have bothered if I had known what it was goiing to be like.

Look, Buzzin and Maverick, im not screaming at you, but read the fucking post before attempting to make some shit smartarse comment (if that's what you were intending to do). There weren't 47,000 people at the ground and I want to see what people's thoughts were on attendance figures and how they are made/taken...end of.

I would say just under 40,000 but if the club sold out then its fine was surprised at the attendance when i sat down but bet it was hard in places but maybe some could off made it and thought free espn and stayed in

And that's why I turned round at Bury on the way to the match!

Had I not, then I dare say I would have been struggling to get home for 2am.

So I watched it in the warmth of the living room instead.

Shoot me.

understandable, i live in the hills and we were 50/50 but decided to go, i didn't make it all the way home but stayed at my dads which is on the way back.

the turnout was good considering the conditions, there was atleast 40,000 there, i'd say more like 42,000-44,000. the bottom tiers were emptier than the top two for some reason so thats why it looked worse on TV. not a bad atmosphere as well, not great but it could have been worse.

anyway good result and onwards and upwards. come on chelsea ;)

Quite a few people in the lower tier will have moved towards the back or gone to the concourse while the snow was falling heavily too. Some people left early as well. Didn't look like there were too many empty seats when it was at its fullest to me.

Yeah tickets sold, but can't believe people were leaving early when we were 3-0 up ;)

I left early for the first time since we got twatted by Leeds at Elland Road. 3-0 at half time. The reason I left was because I had forgot it was a daft o'clock kick off time and I had arranged to meat a Chelsea friend and his wife for a curry in Chester. It's the first time we have met up in months as they have a new born child. Realistically the earliest time I would have got there was 8.30 but due to the snow also I decided to leave early.

Can I please be given your pardon so I can live my life again.

Sincere apologies from a horrible City fan (I use fan loosely)

blame fulham they couldnt fill a minibus poor buggers, haha

i say full marks to fulham fans, they travelled up here in that shit weather and their team took a beating, all in good humour.

Though I didnt go to the game myself I had my lil girl I watched the game noticed all the empty seats, I believe that u should count how many people go through the turnstiles its all computerised so it wouldnt be that difficult to work out Im sure.
Also do we believe that the same would have happened if it was United and not Fulham that all those tickets bought by fans would have stayed away from the match.
We are City I was born City Live City Love City and Die City.
I would walk to the ground from where I live to watch City, so the snow does it again n its freezin thats no excuse not to go to a game.

I didnt like the way that craig burley suggested that people didnt turn up because of the snow. He didnt once consider the effect that the snow might have had

I hope Craig Burley somehow manages to burn his face off after having an accident involving an exploding pan of molten chip fat.
