Tim Burgess

I love Oasis, I've seen them live 13 times and I also love The Charlatans/Tim Burgess, I've seen them live about 5 times. To say they've never done classic album is ridiculous. Some Friendly and Tellin' Stories are both classics in my eyes. I couldn't choose a favourite between the two bands but can understand why some posters are favouring The Charlatans to be fair.

As for James having never done a good album you need to listen to the last two mini albums they've done, The Morning After and The Night Before, some of the best stuff I've heard for ages.

Back to Tim Burgess, yes he's a bit camp and a plastic rag but I like him and he's good to follow on Twitter.

Isn't Tim Burgess from Northwich or somewhere? It's only down the road. People easily forget Ian Brown is from Warrington.

The Charlatans aren't better than Oasis. I've heard almost everything they've done and not one of their albums is a patch on Definitely Maybe or Morning Glory. They've got some killer songs but they're pretty much a singles band to me.

Looked an absolute t*t on Soccer Am yesterday. Don't know if he is just painfully shy or something but the interview was a proper struggle, couldnt string a sentence together
 
It speaks volumes that Charlatans fans are obsessed with being seen as 'better than Oasis'. With such high aspirations it's little surprise that Timothy has taken to dressing like a depressed 14yr old with a Horrors hair cut.
