I’m sure I remember mike Joyce at City sq a few years ago saying he was writing a version of bluemoon that was quite tribal with a heavy drum beat.. never saw the light of day it seems.

yeah I’m all for bluemoon to be fair, it’s just us innit.

I definitely think more oasis though, as some of the earlier lyrics fit Man City so much.

Live Forever is sung in a very high key. That would be hard for the stadium to join in with.

I struggle with a lot of City songs because of this.

I can only really join in with Blue Moon after “Blue Moon” is sung if SSL1 start it off too high pitched. What do you do in that stand, all pull your bollocks up so you can hit the high notes?
