Time for Mark Hughes to resign.

seriously man fuck off he made the right choices tonight, if anything he showed why he should be here, and for the most part im Hughes out but this has inspired me. He put a side out there that were capable of winning and almost did. You should hang your head in shame for that.

This result gives all the Hughesophiles hope.... another wasted season next year.

He's failed with his selection and rotation on so many occasions, what difference does the performance of the players on one night make?
He does not deserve another season in charge. Hughes should go serve out his apprenticeship elsewhere.

Weknew Dunne would get sent off...

but Hughes cant take him off...Dunne should know better...thats why he is (was) Captain...you lead by example...

Pride In Battle...

I agree that all of those are fair points but we shouldnt be taking things so negatively look at the passion the boys displayed tonight, graned its probably not Hughes getting them up for it but still they all put in a shift and we should admire the effor. Stop being so negative about this and just cheer the team on.

If Hughes is gone next year then he is gone. If he stays then he stays and will be judged by next year, lets not concentrate on the manager just the way the boys played tonight which was brilliant.

well it's back to the league now, and I guess the next few games will say everything...

(another couple of performances like we've been having and maybe our owners will decide they're going to act; why he's not been using Elano in the league is very questionable after tonight)

Thats wilfully perverse. We badly needed an injection of fresh inspiration earlier.

Hughes won't be judged on tonight's game. He'll be judged on his performance over the season.

Only because he´s the cap,he can not be sub?? it makes no-sense.

The manager has to think the game, what´s best fot the team, playing one man down it´s horrible.

Whilst I think the lads performed valiantly tonight, lets not get caught up in the emotion of the moment. This tie consisted of 2 Legs, we got thoroughly woman-slapped in the 1st Leg and that was enough to ultimately decide the match. Hughes must carry the can for not getting more out of the team on the road this year, there are no words to describe just how terrible our away performances have been and it is unacceptible for a team this good.
