Time for Mark Hughes to resign.

I must say im very unimpressed with Hughes... he has a big mouth but he doesnt hold true to what he says... he seems to hold grudges to players that are important to the team.... his subs are 80% wrong and to late...he is not a coach/manager to change games... he is good in transfers but seems very bad in man management... he lacks skills and if he is to stay he needs to learn fast how to get his best players to work... learn how to be a match coach and learn how to get the best out of the players to his disposals no matter if he bought them or not...

he has alot of learning fast and he needs to be more humble to how his performance is... do not blame others for his mistakes...

until the challenge he got sent for, in the second half, dunne hadn't put a foot wrong. possibly because Hughes told Micah not to leave him exposed when Olic was pulling wide?

Dunne was daft, but i can't see how anyone can blame Hughes for someone elses stupidity. As I say, if Hughes' message to Dunney at half time was to be sure before putting your foot in, it got through.

I expect the negativity because we gave everything and it just didn't go our way, but everyone involved (maybe bar Dunney), should get a pat on the back for sheer determination and intesity tonight.

This^

Hughes gets blamed when we have no intensity and play like shit, surely even the Hughes outers will give him credit when we play well and with such determination?

If they play like that for the rest of the season then i might start believeing that they are starting to respect him and play for him as the manager. But i wont hold my breath!

They were playing for the occassion and the fans tonight. Any player who cant get himself up for such a game should not be kicking a ball. Sorry but the happy clapping does not hold weight anymore.

I agree that all of those are fair points but we shouldnt be taking things so negatively look at the passion the boys displayed tonight, graned its probably not Hughes getting them up for it but still they all put in a shift and we should admire the effor. Stop being so negative about this and just cheer the team on.

If Hughes is gone next year then he is gone. If he stays then he stays and will be judged by next year, lets not concentrate on the manager just the way the boys played tonight which was brilliant.

Sounds good to me...

If anyone can look at the bigger picture, I think tonight was more nails in Mr. Hughes managerial coffin. Why can't we play like that every week............That was the general concensus? Well, simple answer to that question..... we played extremely well tonight, but I think it was a case of the lads putting in a deserved shift for all us long suffering fans, not the manager! And perhaps for themselves(nowt wrong with that) FFS, even the dogs in the back street knew Dunne was gonna get sent off at some stage, surely a manager of Hughes' tactical prowess could have seen this!? OK, Caicedo took his goal well, apart from that he was SHITE! Offside don't how many times, a big lad who can't even win the ball in air, passing garbage. Why did Elano come off? Ridiculous, decision! HOpe this is a wake up call to the pro-hughes camp

dunne is a wholehearted no-nonsense defender

I am suprised everytime he makes it through 90minutes without getting booked, just because thats the way he plays. defend first, think later. I love him for it... but I wonder who MH thought he was talking to when he said, 'just dont get booked again'

..any others...
why don't you go for another dip in the hudson,
why would he resign, he should stand up now and give everyone of them
so called players a bollocking and ask why not do that every game, prima donnas

He knows why they don't and so do we.
They have no respect for the clown in charge.
They played for the fans and the occasion tonight.
