So much for our vaunted strength in depth. We have no pace in defence outside Clichy and have just seen a golden chance evaporate because the wheels fall of because we only have 2 decent full backs. The best left-back signing if we were to let Kolarov go would be Jordi Alba, he is basically a left-winger who can defend and we have good relations with his club (Valencia) to snatch him before Barcelona do next summer. But Kolarov won't go unless Juventus make an enticing offer.

Would be great but Barcelona probably tapped him already Would have loved getting Enrique for 5m a bargain strong, consistent, can defend and actually puts good crosses in but with Kolorov already here it would have been hard getting him and Clichy.

I like Mancini. Really classy guy and i hope he wins it for you this season. I have to say though, his job will come under pressure if he fails to win the league this year.

Mourinho won the league in his 1st season at Chelsea and he was up against a good Arsenal side as well as a very good United side. He spent a shit load of money, like Mancini but faced greater opposition imo.

If Mourinho was your manager, you lot would not have slipped up against Brom and Sunderland.

Watched Barcelona lose 1-0 to getafe (then 2nd bottom of the league)a couple of months ago , Barcelona absolutely battered getafe , but they didnt get a break , and they are the best team in the world by a country mile , so perhaps there is logic in other posters comments.

Henley the left back from blackburn looks like an overweight farmer running round a muddy potatoe field not a patch on Clichy or Zab. Only additions we need is Di Rossi. If and when Tevez goes id go for Defoe or Torres. Cant see the need for wholesale additions until summer
