"Time To Go Mario"

Unfortunately here lies the problem. Mancini is not learning by his mistakes. I believe Mancini has 12 months left on his contract (I might be wrong), let`s see what the club`s stance is concerning any extension.

Are you seriously comparing Hart to Balotelli?

Incredible.

Although it's true to form.
Joe Hart loses his temper as much, if not more frequently, than Balotelli. I couldn't tell you how many times I've seen him kick bottles or kick the post this season. Therefore his reactions do not strike me as ones from a calm and clear-headed assessment. This was the contention of dctid; that the reaction of Hart, model pro, tells you all you need to know. I'm a big fan of Joe Hart and I've consistently named him in what I see as our four key players (Hart, Kompany, Yaya, Silva), but his fiery temperament when we're losing or when he's just conceded is not level-headedness and therefore his reactions tell us the square root of fuck all.

joe hart gets v angry when conceding goals, he hates it. he wants to beat his record season of clean sheets.

he sets himself v high standards and wants the team to win, win and only win. i'm behind his goal in 116 south stand for most second halves, when we score he celebrates like a fan and when we scored the late goals against spurs and chelski he went mental.

he's the kind of player ferguson and mourinho love. or would you rather we have kasper again celebrating rags goals against us?

to me, him, kompany, richards, zabs are city legends and love it at city, i'd class them as city fans. i know they may support others like richards does with arse but they definitely bleed blue.

these are the players we need, who are furious with themselves when they don't succeed to their own high standards.

the same could be said for lescott, milner, nige, barry, aguero to some extent as well.

I say he's one of four key players and you take that to mean I'm asking for a replacement? Christ that's dumb.

well yeah shouldn't have put that but it was more to do with attitude than ability.

what do you think about the rest of what i said?

I agree to an extent. Just don't see what it has to do with whether Hart is making a clear judgement when he's just conceded a goal, in all likelihood lost the game and the title as well. dctid says his reaction to Mario's red card told us everything. When he's pissed off, Joe Hart, for all his excellent attitude and generally performances as well, IS NOT, making a level-headed assessment of what's just happened. That's all I've said about Hart on this thread.

I don't blame Balo...but he certainly hasn't helped. This picture made me laugh though:

it was very fuckign stupid the tackle, the whole world though "what an idiot", hart was correct so i don't see the problem?

harts not breaking any rules, he's showing he cares. IMO i think if everyone had his attitude, we'd be better off.

WHAT?!? he's been here for 2 and a half seasons. in his first 1/2 season, we lost a cup semi final and missed out on the champions league to spurs. you can see where i'm going here can't you? in his first full season, we won a cup semi final against the same opponents, went on to win the cup, beat spurs to the champions league and bettered it by finishing above arsenal as well. during last season, he was criticised for being too negative. this season we blew everyone away before christmas with as good a brand of football as i've seen city play.

we've suffered another set-back but given mancini's record with us, do you honestly believe he won't learn from this season and put it right next season?

Good article. He seems like a player trying to force a move. For a 'father figure' Mario sure does treat Mancini like shit.

In Italy the excuse was racism and a manager he couldn't get along with. That doesn't exist at City, yet here we are again.
