Time to stand up and be counted…..

Cheers.

But you're conflating support for City with critical analysis of City.

I'm 100% a City fan - but I separate support from analysis.
At present our team need support. Let Pep do the analysis, that’s what he gets paid megabucks for, I’m here to support my team. Sorry. When we lose one match I might analyse because that’s fine but after more than that Pep and the team have earned my respect and my loyalty. Sorry.

This is just MY HUMBLE OPINION. Others will, and do, see it differently!! ;-)

Honest and reliable as ever Sheila, well said.

Us older fans have seen far, far worse than we’re seeing right now.
But we’ve been spoilt beyond our wildest dreams.
So, now’s the time,
The players,
The manager,
The coaches,
The fans,
To get our shoulders back, chest out and to bloody stand up and be counted.
Today needs to be our 1998 York City result and Tuesday needs to be our Wrexham result. The start of something special.
We can do it. We’re going through a tough patch but we can definitely do it.
Win, lose or draw, we’ll be with you.
We fight to the end and now is the time we really need to fight.
Come on you blue boys.
CTID
I remember my first beer.

Get through until January, couple of good purchases to give us a boost, ensure we finish top 4, buy wisely in the summer and we go again next season with a reinvigorated squad.

Great sportsmen and coaches never rest on their laurels and spend their time being happy with what they have achieved in the past.

With some fans mentality we would have won very little over the last few years.
But we’re fans, not players, not coaches, not DOFs, not CEO or chairmen. Luckily we have the best in the business for those positions. Leaving supporting the team on the pitch all we need to worry about for supportors.

If you're in the stands on game day and not cheering for City with all your might - then yes - shame on you! City needs your support. The emotional, loud, boisterous support from fans in attendance on game day makes a huge difference.

But if the game is over and you're on Bluemoon, posting about how well (or not) the team performed in your opinion - then, well, it has no effect one way or another on the team's performance. Might as well take a long, hard sober look at the side - and its performance - and engage in debate based on what you saw happen on the field - free of emotional bias toward City.
