Time to start banning hacks from the Etihad?

Banning journos achieved nothing apart from more bad press.Keep winning games and trophies. Do our talking on the pitch.

Plenty of posters on here would get banned from the stadium using your criteria because the amount of fans talking us down this week, and much of this season, has been incredible.

Believe it or not Dave - tens of thousands aren't reading your pearls on mainstream media outlets when you post on here. A great loss for all concerned I know.
As for banning - done sensibly and when the drivel reported is 100% wrong, then a short ban to register our disdain would be appropriate and overdue!
The Sergio to Madrid hack this morning was being a prime example.

Lets ban every broadcaster and press hacks .
It wouldn't be bad idea .
Lets face it City wont get any more followers through the likes of Rupert Murdoch and BT Sports and the BBC and ITV .
Like to today Rob Hawthorne was bursting to say the Saints have scored .
The media in general really piss me off .

so taggart got loads of bad press at the scum did he? you chat so much bollocks its untrue.

Well clearly he thought so hence the reason he banned them.

Banning journalists would just look small minded, petty and us becoming every thing we use to hate.

Also who would we ban? If fans on this forum had their way there would be no one left to commentate and report on City games. Even the likes of Quinn and Francis ex-city players do not escape the criticism of being part of the Agenda.

For example do we ban the Daily Mail? In the process alienating Martin Samuel who always defends our position on FFP. Or the Mirror and Simon Mullock a blue.

Or the biggest evil of all Sky. Who contribute millions enabling us to buy the great players we do.

Of course today its the turn of Glenn Hoddle. Will the ban extend to when we play QPR?

We cannot alter the perception of the club by banning individuals for expressing opinions about the club. It would be counter-productive. We get positive press and negative press. Its a fact of life for sny organisation in the public domain.

You obviously haven't read Martin Samuel's piece on our match with Bayern.
He too jumped on what was a fucking huge bandwagon.

Not for bully-boy petulant reasons as per GPC, but for a fully justified reaction to the lies and hate spouted by these so-called journalists.

We've never been liked since the takeover, rarely any positives, never get any the plaudits we deserve for our achievements or style of play, always looking to destabalise and take the piss. This season it seems to have reached an all time high, culminating in the sneering and abuse we received for BEATING Bayern! Would that happen with any other club???

Come on city, time to take a hard stance and please ban the fuckers. You can start with every c**t who writes for the laughably titled Independent.

it no longer bothers me to be honest. I just enjoy yhe club sticking it up em

We are gonna get bad press as a matter of course! We might as well kick 'em out, and not spend a penny on providing these farts with one ounce of hospitality. They write shit when they're in, they write shit when they're out. We benefit if they are out!
