Nasri becomes a player who can slip in for Yaya or Jovetic in that system. Can also become 442 if needs be with Silva moving left and Jovetic playing off Aguero. Rodwell can play in either Yaya or Silva's position.

The signing's we've made have made the squad so much more balanced. All the inherent weaknesses we've carried have been addressed. Its down to the players now to deliver but it looks mouth watering on paper when you think of the players who don't make the best XI.

Bang on the money. The only 'weakness' I can see in our squad is at left-back if Clichy is unavailable, and that may well be addressed yet in this window.

Which is pretty good compared to the vast majority of sides in Europe, most of whom have evident faults.
